BRETON Florentin

Main research interests

Understanding climate change in territories (processes, mitigation, adaptation):

  • Development and evaluation of climate models (urban meteorology, bias quantification)
  • Study of past, present and future climates (spatiotemporal variability, statistical modeling and machine learning)
  • Development of urban approaches for buildings (energy consumption and thermal comfort, design and renovation options)
  • Development of social approaches for climate action (comparison between public perception and scientific knowledge, co-development of territorial options).

Research work partly interdisciplinary (physical and social sciences) and transdisciplinary (from theory to application).
